Gamers…

Soul Caliber 4 hit the store to day, some of you gamers may have already been on the arcade.  Thanks to my younger brother I got a glimpse. I think they got some decent combos I played a little online.   It was a good break from Call of Duty 4.  For some reason I’ve been really addicted Call of duty.  Can’t wait for that Madden to come out though.

Labor Ready

Today is only Tue. I just dropped my daugter of to her mother this past weekend. I had her for a month, she gave me some of my mojo back reminded me that hard work pays off so take no days off.  Plus its some projects we have to put together.  Two dry days of no work I got up about 6:15 this morning and was doing the hill signing my name in the only thing that got accomplished was me finishing up the boot leg of Jumpers. So much for that we put people to work slogan…   I even went to the Edd office afterwards.  Well this is how I’m going to start my days for the next six months until something better comes along.

The night before last my body corrosponded with my thought process.  I didn’t even make to Church on Sunday, after being invited.  A couple shot of E and J had me whooped!  The cold part about it I was really cool on sippin anyway,  I didn’t even put in on it.  The next morning stomache hurts, feels like a creeping hang over,  yep dumbass head ache creepin’ up.  I can’t even hoop on days like this.   Sunday morning….

Mission : last minute corner store run (Lucky’s), it closes at 12 midnight.  Usually I would get that 211 Steel Reserve, but not tonight.  I’m trying to cut back on the happy juice.   I see the gatorade is on sale for 79 cents.  That 8 ball is 1.49 for the tall can.  Ice cream 1.99 thats a winner for me.

Well after the ice cream it really wasn’t that good but if I would have added 3 shots of Henn and 2 ice cubes and a splash of milk that would have been just right. I held out though.

Wax on, Wax off, (Parkwest). http://www.parkwestgallery.com/

It’s 6:45 am, just finished signing my name and already I got work.  Good old Labor Ready.  Some of these jobs are a little back breaking.  Once I got contracted out to Napa and had to dig a trench 3ft deep and 18 inches wide from the house to the side walk and up under it to change out the water piping.

This particular day I’m riding to Yountville.  We unload two 18 wheelers of boxes for the up coming art show displayed by Parkwest and hosted by one of the 5 star hotels.  So the first day was the set.  It wasn’t bad at all the coordinators ask us to come back a couple more days and to dress nice.  I am delegated to be the wax on guy.  For those who don’t know this the person who puts the art on the easel for them to bid.  We were paid about 8.50  hr but that didn’t include the wonderful lunch or the 4 samples of very tasty wines.  One particular sample was in the two thousand dollar range.  That’s just make you aware of the caliber.

We have 2 truck loads to unload.  Somewhere within the 3 day affair I was impressed. They have many various artist such as Itzchak Tarkay, oils and water colors, Scott Jacobs known Harley Davidson’s first official licensed artist out of Southern Cali, and Tomasz Rut.  Somewhere within the 3 day affair I was impressed. How much money was spent, lets just say that some of these paintings would put some people in a house, paid for.  Fix someones debt, build credit.  Not to discredit the great artwork but just to know how maybe some of these paintings were handled you dont just scrape the face of a painting and still let it go for 125,000.00 or do you.  Just joking, I think…

Religion

Religion is a set of rules and doctrine. Christianity is a relationship, in a relationship there is a cost, the greater the value, the greater the cost.

Catch 22 (did it 2 myself)

So the teller replies, “hold on, I’ll be right back.”

I didn’t panic, so I think. I just calmly glanced toward the security guard. Damn it!! He picked up his walkie talkie and he’s looking toward me. So I get another tellers attention,” Excuse me miss, I need to go speak with my wife, I’ll be right back.” (Shit, I reach this door and I’m gone). So I, so called casually walk, briskly to the door. I’m out, he didn’t try to grab me!? Ooh shit, but he’s following me. Plus he’s still on that fucking walkie talkie or cell phone what ever it is he’s giving my location.

Someone yells out of a mini van. ” Hey you want to buy a surround sound”. It came like a que.

“Fuck you”, its time to dip and get low. Plan B, I don’t have a plan b, can’t give up the ride or the source. So I cut to the CHA$E. I’m in a parking lot, with burger king to my left and Kmart catacorner left, a dirt hill 200ft straight ahead, the main road 100 ft to the right. This guard is on my ass…

I’m sure the police are on there way by now. So I get as low as possible running, I bob and weave my way through the cars in the parking lot heading toward the dirt hill. As I approach the hill, I look back to scan the area for who’s watching me. I don’t see the guard, maybe I lost him. I’m sure he’s still lurking somewhere. I’m sure, once I dash up this dirt hill I’m going to oddly bring more unwanted attention to myself. So I hit it anyway. I’m at the top of the dirt hill in a parking lot behind some type of office building. The group of cigarette smoker’s give me the, where the hell did you just turn up from look.

I say “Hey”, just like I’m an employee and enter the building. I on the bottom floor in the lobby looking out the window. I hop on the phone “Hey Cynt, everything is all bad they tried to snatch me up”. Her response made me very uneasy, like she got caught up. So I hang up on her and here comes a black and white turning the corner headed my direction. So I leave the building out the same way I came in. I notice the employee’s expressions are different. I look down the dirt hill and its definitley time to Houdini cause the black and whites are at the bottom. Only one place to go, which is jumping in a canyon full of shrubs and bushes. As I approach my escape I contemplate not even attempting it. The thought of how much time I may serve crosses my mind, I’m cool on being away for a while. Within a split second I leap into action like a buck dodging the cross hairs of a hunter. My clothes are ripping and the ground is unsteady. When I look back I see two faces with badges staring down my path. I can tell their not even about to take that jump. I come up from behind some houses, but I’m at the end of the dead end street. If I don’t hop this fence the boys will probably be come from around the corner any minute. After scaling the fence I end at the cross section of a freeway and over the overpass there is a police station to the right. I get pass and there is a GoodWill up the street two blocks. I spend nine dollars on a wardrobe change and leave out the store. I’m so sweaty and my muscles are cramping, I been running at least 15 min. I make another phone call “Sergio, whats up blood, meet me at Fam Mart”.
